The short term gains and the long term effects of so many quick fix FAD diets is now well documented, it’s important not to fall into the same trap and subsequent circle of dieting that so many have and do.
Although designed to help you lose weight, this detox is not a crash diet. It has been especially designed to show you how to make appropriate food and lifestyle changes to compliment your weight-loss goal. This in-turn will help to ensure that you do indeed lose weight, but in the most effective way possible.
The detox is not about calorie restriction, nor is it about asking you to try and maintain an unsustainable way of eating, it’s about understanding what Macronutrients are needed for your body, lifestyle and goals and then ensuring that these are then distributed with the right food choices.
After completing an initial consultation, you will then be asked to complete a 7 day food diary. After evaluation, your macronutrients will be set and you’ll be on your way. You will not be told exactly what to eat, but you will be told what you can’t have and what you must have. You will then be taught to understand and manage the breakdown of your protein, fats and carbohydrates and via the use of an app, how to record and share these with me, your trainer.
